Arhat series (1999–2013)

For the Eighteen Arhats, each Arhat is as much an expression of a spiritual level as it is a means of cleansing the artist’s inner being. The religious introspection merged with the power he applied to his expressionistic paintings, which reached maturity during these years. Yahon, standing at the epicenter of the contrasting values existing between worldly pursuits and spiritual sublimation, has managed to embrace both. That, in essence, constitutes the source of his creative inspiration.
